Baked Brie and Prosciutto Bites Recipe

Baked Brie and Prosciutto Bites

Delicate phyllo cups filled with warm, creamy brie are finished with a perfectly balanced topping of fig preserves, prosciutto, and a light drizzle of truffle honey. These Baked Brie and Prosciutto Bites with Fig Jam and Truffle Honey are an easy yet elegant appetizer, ideal for entertaining or adding a touch of indulgence to any celebration.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of 15 premade phyllo shells
  • 1/3 lb of Brie
  • 1 3-oz package of prosciutto
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon fig preserves (per shell)
  • 1 teaspoon truffle honey for drizzling
      • *everything can be made “to taste”

Directions:

1. Bake/Melt the Brie in a 375 degree oven for roughly 15 minutes or until the cheese is melty.
2. Crisp up the pastry shells at 375 for 4 minutes.
3. Scoop melted cheese into cups.
4. Add small dollop of fig preserves to each cup.
5. Drizzle truffle honey on each cup.
6. Cut and roll prosciutto slightly smaller than width of shell and add to each.
7. Garnish with chopped scallion.

If needed, reheat the cups in the oven but they are able to be served at room temperature. We left some without prosciutto for a vegetarian option.
